Privacy and Cookie Policy
This privacy policy is intended to help you understand what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with this data. This is important not only to ensure the security of your personal data but also to ensure that ST Inventar A/S complies with all the conditions of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which came into effect on May 25, 2018.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
GDPR sets new frameworks for how personal data is processed and how we relate to the right to privacy. The purpose of the General Data Protection Regulation is to strengthen and unify data protection rules and rights in favor of EU citizens. It applies to all EU organizations and organizations outside the EU (of any size) that provide goods and services to the EU, or that use tracking technologies (such as cookies or tracking pixels) to monitor EU users' behavior.

1. Personal Information - What We Collect and Why
We offer certain features on the website that are only available through the use of the following tracking technologies. You can always block, delete, or disable these technologies if your browser allows it. However, if you reject cookies or other similar technologies, you may not be able to take advantage of certain features or tools.
Generally, these technologies allow our website to store relevant information in your browser or device and later read this information so that our servers or internal systems can identify you. Where relevant, we protect our cookies and other similar technologies to ensure that only we and/or our authorized service providers can interpret them by assigning them a unique identification uniquely designed for interpretation by us.
1.1 Cookies
By using this website, you accept our cookie policy.
This website uses, like many others, cookies. Cookies help us provide a better user experience in the website's features. Many features on the website depend on the use and storage of cookies, and you therefore cannot expect the website to function as intended if you disable cookies.
We treat information collected by cookies and other technologies as non-personal information. To the extent that IP addresses or similar identifiers are considered personal information under the law, we also treat these identifiers as personal information.
Similarly, we treat combined information as personal information in connection with this privacy policy, to the extent that non-personal information is combined with personal information.
1.2.1 What are cookies?
A cookie is a file that the browser places on your computer. It allows the computer to be recognized and remembers choices you have previously made on the website, e.g., language selection. A cookie cannot spread computer viruses or other harmful programs. Cookies delete themselves after a certain number of months (which may vary), but they are renewed after each visit. The cookie cannot see who you are, what your name is, where you live, or if the computer is used by one or more individuals. However, if you provide personal information to a website, a cookie can be used to remember you the next time you visit the website.
1.2.2 This website uses the following cookies:
1.2.3 Tag Manager
We are constantly trying to improve the customer experience on our website by providing visitors with more personalized and targeted campaigns and offers. To do this, we use Google Tag Manager (GTM).
GTM is a small piece of code that helps us track user behavior across our websites and then pushes the data to our Google Analytics account. All data is then perfectly organized and ready to evaluate and review potential improvements to the website and remarketing campaigns.
We consider Google to be a third-party data processor (see section 2 below).
1.2.4 How can I avoid cookies on websites?
Regardless of which browser you use, you can adjust your browser settings so that it does not store cookies. Some browsers only allow you to adjust this setting for specific websites.
If you do not wish to receive or delete cookies, please see the guide here: http://minecookies.org/cookiehandtering.
1.4 Contact Forms
If you choose to contact us by using a contact form on our website, your information will be stored in our backend and compiled into an email and subsequently sent to us via SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol).
The information in the email will be transferred to our CRM system if relevant. The data will then be associated with an existing account with a similar email or created as a new contact.
There may be follow-up regarding the inquiry, and therefore we reserve the right to retain contact information until the event has reached a conclusion.
We do not share your information with third parties.
1.5 Newsletters
If you choose to subscribe to our email newsletter, the email address you send to us will be sent to MailChimp, which provides us with email marketing services. We consider MailChimp to be a third-party data processor.
Your email address will remain in our own - and in MailChimp's database, as long as we continue to use MailChimp's services for email marketing or until you specifically wish to be removed from the list. You can do this by unsubscribing using the unsubscribe links included in our newsletters or by requesting removal via email. When you request removal via email, you must send your email to us using the email account that subscribes to our newsletters.
When you subscribe to the newsletter, you provide your name and email address. We only use this information to send the newsletter to you and to personalize the content.
Information about your use of the newsletters - including whether the newsletters are opened, how long they are open, when the email is deleted, and if links are clicked is collected by our IT system in anonymized form. We use this information to improve our service so that we can even more effectively target and tailor content to the recipient's interests.
Your personal data is stored until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Upon unsubscribing, the information is deleted from us and our data processor.
We do not share your information with third parties.
2. Our third-party data processor
We use a range of third parties to process personal data on our behalf. These third parties have been carefully selected. Read more on their respective websites.
