We lead the way when it comes to reducing our environmental impact. We produce in our own factory in Denmark and therefore locally. With the Climate Compass, we carefully analyze the carbon footprint of our products so that we can optimize and take responsibility for every single detail.

With product solutions from ST, a positive contribution to the TCO accounts is ensured due to the high quality in terms of strength and durability, thus providing cost savings over the lifetime of the products and also savings concerning CO2 reductions because of the deferral of replacement costs.

EPDs
We work closely with our subcontractors and have environmental product declarations (EPDs) for the raw materials we use. This ensures full transparency and documentation for the sustainability of our materials. Documentation can be provided upon request.
FSC / PEFC
We use as much as possible only wood from sustainable forestry, certified according to FSC or PEFC standards. This means that we contribute to preserving the world's forests while delivering durable and beautiful furniture. Please feel free to inquire about the possibilities.

CE marked changing table
ST's own produced changing table is CE marked and meets all requirements within Danish Standard. The changing table is available in several versions and is ideal for any daycare institution that wants to ensure a good working environment.
Maintenance
Our solutions are developed with a focus on easy installation and long life.
To ensure optimal function and a beautiful appearance for many years, we recommend following our guidelines for cleaning, maintenance, and any adjustments so the inventory retains both strength and aesthetics.
With regular maintenance, you can expect a solution that withstands daily use and maintains its expression throughout its lifetime.
Materials and collaboration products
ST sets requirements for material selection and product construction. Products and components suitable for the purpose and designed for long lifespan. On behalf of our customers, we set high environmental requirements for our suppliers and in connection with the manufacture of new products, we choose materials, accessories, and production methods that from an environmental perspective are best aimed at minimizing environmental impact.
Disposal
When renovating subject rooms or replacing furniture, there is often a need for proper disposal – especially in rooms where hazardous materials are handled. ST ensures that the furniture is designed to be both dismantled and disposed of safely.
We offer professional handling and disposal as part of our service – with a focus on safety and applicable procedures.
Recycling of surplus wood
We use Danish-produced chipboards and melamine boards, where the proportion of recycled wood is up to 100%. The chipboards are produced from surplus material from the Danish forests as well as the wood and furniture industry.
By using chipboards made from recycled waste wood, ST contributes to reducing energy consumption and extending the life cycle of trees.
Work environment - optimization of work environment
In addition to our environmental efforts, we work to ensure a good and safe working environment – both in production and in the spaces where our furnishing solutions are used.
We incorporate acoustics, ergonomics, and hygiene into our product design and consulting.
CO2 neutral and renewable energy from Danish wind turbines
In the production of inventory solutions, ST supports the green transition by exclusively using CO2 neutral and renewable wind energy from Danish wind turbines in production.
In the innovative processes, we also focus on ensuring that the solutions are energy-friendly and/or can contribute to reducing energy consumption. In the future, we expect to launch more energy-relevant solutions, products, and components to the market through our continuous innovation projects. We look forward to sharing more updates.
